Appleshaw Village Walks


Here are a few walk routes and helpful links for you to use.


9.2 mile Village Walk

Head north toward West Park and Appleshaw village centre. You will pass The Walnut Tree pub on your right. Follow this road through the valley for 3 miles.
Turn left onto Forest Ln and Upper Chute.
Turn left to stay on Forest Ln
You can turn left onto Malthouse Ln, this road goes to The Cross Keys Pub for refreshments.
Turn right on Malthouse Ln and follow this road straight to Chute Stranden.
Continue right onto Dummer Ln for 1.5 miles and you will pass The Hatchet Inn on your left.
Follow the road right up the hill.
Turn right following signs for Clanville for 2 miles. Go through Clanville.
Turn right onto Back Ln before The Lion pub.
Turn left at the bottom of the hill onto Ragged Appleshaw, follow for 0.4 miles.
Turn right onto Greensey.
Turn left and Appleshaw Village Hall is straight ahead.


7.2 Mile Village Walk

Head north toward West Park and Appleshaw village centre. You will pass The Walnut Tree pub on your right. Follow for 0.4 miles.
Slight right onto New House Ln, follow for 1.2 miles.
Turn right onto Lodge Ln and follow for 1.6 miles through Chute Forest.
Turn right heading toward Clanville and Tangley. Straight over cross roads
Continue onto Nutbane Ln for 0.8 mi and Slight right onto Penton Ln and Continue onto Back Ln.
Quick left then right to stay on Back Ln and passed The Lion pub.
Turn left at the bottom of the hill onto Ragged Appleshaw, follow for 0.4 miles.
Turn right onto Greensey.
Turn left and Appleshaw Village Hall is straight ahead.
